Caprafiba is proud to present it's range of exceptional quality hand knitting yarns, Shawls, Stoles, Scarves, Blanket throws and Socks made using yarn produced from the fleece of the angora goat. This lovely collection has been produced in cooperation with Prestige Fibres Ltd of Bradford, UK, a family business with three generations of experience in grading and blending the finest natural fibres. Experience in working with natural fibres is an essential first step in producing the best yarn for each specific purpose in order to make full use of a fibre's individual characteristics.

The kid mohair used in our products is from the first and finest fleece of the angora goat, carefully blended to give strength and performance whilst maintaining its naturally soft and luxurious character.

If you are looking for exceptionally soft but strong Hand knitting yarns we can offer our new 'Capracloud' boucle kid mohair. This lustrious yarn easily knits on large needles to produce scarves or garments with a material look. It is available in in a range of lucious random handdye colours or natural cream that you can dye yourself! Patterns for this yarn are now available

We also have Caprahaze, supersoft fluffy kid mohair in an exceptional range of colours which can be used in any standard Mohair pattern.

The Lacy summer over top pictured on the left is knitted with only 100 grms of our new Capramist double knitting yarn which is available in our shop and will be available very soon on-line as a 'knit kit'

From another beautifully soft yarn Capra Cobweb we have produced supremely soft, hand framed filigree shawls and stoles including aptly named wedding ring shawls because they are fine enough to be pulled through a wedding ring. These are perfect for pampered babies or discerning adults - so soft, warm and light they need to be handled to appreciate the quality.

GLORIOUS MOHAIR SKINS

Beautifully soft and sensual Mohair skins. They maintain their good looks and individual locks without felting and the smooth mohair fibre shrugs off dirt with just a shake. Can be hand washed. (Dry in a cool airy place)
